The Bossy's
Feltworks sheep live a happy life in a small island valley, cared
for by the Lum family. They supply much of the wool used in all
of Bossy's Feltworks creations. (There is another flock of sheep
in Vermont, owned by extended members of the Lum family, who also
contribute their wool...)
But first
and foremost, we are pleased to introduce Bossy. For 15 years
she was the matron of the Lum flock, and would be the first to
greet you, especially if you had an apple in your pocket. This
past February, Bossy passed on to greener pastures. The Bossy
Feltworks families attended her very special memorial service,
during which the kids planted tulip and daffodil bulbs, songs
were sung, and cupcakes (decorated as greener pastures) were eaten.
Who would have thought that Bossy the sheep would leave such a
legacy (well, Bossy probably knew it all along)!
